I installed PuTTY and PSFTP under Windows 7 (which itself runs under software called Parallels on my iMac; Parallels allows a Mac to run other operating systems, such as Windows and LINUX, simultaneously with Mac OS X, each in its own window.) There are some basic functions that you might commonly want or need to perform using PuTTY and PSFTP. Using PuTTY, that might include opening two PuTTY windows, resizing them, and copying text in one window and pasting it into the other. Using PSFTP, that would include specifically how to transfer files between your Windows PC and your account on funnel. Below is an account of how I managed to perform these tasks.
